The trials for the Midlands Conference teams starts on Saturday at National Ice Centre Nottingham.

The programme is the first step on the EIHA’s Elite Player Pathway and Sutton Sting has a number of players who have represented the Club at Conference and this year I would really like us to get more of our players selected.

Matt Darlow (former U15 Conference Coach) has agreed to support me (current U15 Conference Coach) as we hold our first INTRODUCTION TO CONFERENCE event at Lammas on Friday night.

The idea will be to provide some background to Conference and also give you some tips on what to do, how to do it etc etc. We will start at 8:30pm and there will be time for you to go on the ice at 9:30.

This is open to anyone who would like to try-out for Conference this season and is aimed at:

U11 – Players born 2004, 2005 : Trial is on Saturday 6th September
U13 – Players born 2002, 2003 : Trial is on Saturday 27th September
U15 – Players born 2000, 2001 : Trial is on Saturday 20th September
U17 – Players born 1998, 1999 : Trial is on Saturday 13th September

You need to be aware that the Trials are held at NIC, Nottingham from 10pm till 1am (2 hours ice time).
