Sutton Sting have appointed a Covid 19 officer for the Sheffield and Sutton rinks.
It is the Covid 19 officer responsibility to keep up to date with the latest government guidance and EIHA guidelines. Both officers will make sure that all members are keeping to the clubs risk assessment.
The officer will liaise with the two rinks and the exec team to make the running of sessions as safe as possible. They will take a register of who attend each session so we can work with the track and trace programme should we need too.
The officers will not be responsible for who can and cannot go on the ice, they can not and will not be able to change any controls or restrictions set out within the clubs extensive risk assessment , so please do not embarrass them by asking.
If you were to fall ill with Covid symptoms, or be in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 please let the your Covid officer know via phone or text ASAP.
